How it goes, and what it costs to hold a day.

Most shops make you call to find out. Here it is in writing, so you can plan the trip, the money and the day before you ever text.

The price

Every piece is quoted as one number for the whole tattoo, after the consultation and before anything is booked. Send the idea through the quote form with a photo of the spot and any reference art, and we come back with the number and how many sessions it will take. Shop minimum is $100. Consultations are free.

The deposit

$50 holds your day. It comes off the final price of the tattoo, so it is never an extra fee. If life moves, give 48 hours notice and the deposit moves with you to the new day. It stays good for 90 days. No-shows and same-day cancellations lose it, because that day was yours and nobody else could have it.

Touch-ups

One free touch-up inside 90 days of your appointment. Follow the aftercare sheet (also en español) and most pieces never need one. After 90 days, or if the piece was not cared for, touch-ups are quoted like any other work.

Appointments and walk-ins

We run by appointment, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday. That is how every client gets the whole chair and the whole artist. Passing through on Route 66 or I-40 with a few hours? Text (928) 637-5129 first. If there's a gap in the day, we'll say so straight.

Age

18 and up, ID required. Bring it even if you are forty. No exceptions, and no offense meant.

Any amount, year round. Pick one up in the shop or text (928) 637-5129 and we'll have it ready for you.

The chair is yours

One artist, one client, one afternoon. When you book, tell us your three favorite bands (or a playlist) and what you like to drink, and that is what plays and what is in the fridge when you sit down. Small thing. People remember it.

Cover-ups and reworks

A specialty here. Send a clear photo of what you have in good light, and say what you would like it to become. Some old work can be covered outright; some is better reworked into something new. We'll tell you which, and why, before you book. Two cover-ups, before and after, are on the wall.

Before you sit down

• Eat a real meal an hour before. Bring water.
• Sleep the night before, and skip the alcohol.
• Wear something that leaves the spot easy to reach and that you do not mind a little ink on.
• Bring your ID, and the reference art if it is not already sent.
• Big piece? Plan for breaks. We'd rather stop and come back than have you white-knuckle it.
